Forget God (for awhile), survival of Consciousness after death and outside the brain is the thing to investigate first, says this blogger below. If you prove consciousness has a mind of its own, a life of its own, then the other question of whether God/Goddess exists or not will simply answer itself. The atheists-and-scientists vs. mystics-and-believers method is not getting us the answers we need, we crave. We must look at whether consciousness survives after we die, examine the evidence that our brains do not create consciousness, they merely tap into it, like your car radio picks up on a broadcast of huge FM radio waves.

True science is not concerned about the subjective notions of what exists in your brain. True science is interested in what exists outside of your subjective consciousness. That what exists independent of your consciousness is that what is objectively real and true. It is true because it is verified by verifiable evidence and is not prejudiced by subjective notions of the real world.
Dialectical understanding is the understanding of objective not subjective reality.

As no one has responded to these questions I have been researching it on my own. Every dictionary defines “subsist” as “exist”. Latin dictionaries define “subsistit in” as “exists in”. So we have the alleged clarifiction saying that while we can say the Church exists in the other Churches, we can't say it “subsists” (ie, exists) anywhere but the Catholic Church.
One commentator did say that the German translation of subsistit does connote some sort of exclusivity, but certainly the English does not.
